Coltec Titanium Exchaust Heat Wrap is designed to contain heat inside exhaust manifolds and exhaust headers, which encourages exhaust gas scavenging. Heat contained inside the manifold/headers results in increased gas velocity, and also helps to remove exhaust gases from the combusition chamber which can affect air fuel ratios and/or the tuning of the engine.

The greatest benefit to exhaust heat wrap is the ability to reduce engine bay temperature by over 50%, meaning the air that is drawn into the engine through the air intake system carries much more density, which = more horsepower!
